Manamadurai (State Assembly Constituency)
Manamadurai is the 187th state assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. It is a Scheduled Caste reserved constituency located in Sivaganga district. It is a component of Sivaganga Lok sabha constituency. From 2008 onwards Ilayangudi Assembly constituency had been merged with Manamadurai constituency under constituency delimitation act. It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu, in India. Some of the Major demands of people in Manamadurai constituency are to construct new Bus Stands at Thiruppuvanam and Suranam and also to Upgrade the Bus stands present in Manamadurai, ilayangudi and salaigramam; to bring an Agro Based Industry related with Capsicum Plantation near Ilayangudi as these areas have more capsicum plantation. 1962 Madras Legislative Assembly Election
The third legislative assembly election to the Madras state (presently Tamil Nadu) was held on 21 February 1962. The Indian National Congress party, led by K. Kamaraj, won the election. The Sixteenth Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election was held on 6 April 2021, to elect representatives from the 234 constituencies in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) won the election, ending the decade-long reign of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK). The DMK's leader M. K. 2016 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election
The Fifteenth Legislative Assembly Election was held on 16 May 2016 for the 232 seats (except Thanjavur and Aravakurichi for which held on 26 October 2016) of the Legislative Assembly in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. AIADMK under J. Jayalalithaa won the elections and became the first ruling party to be re-elected in Tamil Nadu since 1984, though with a simple majority. 2006 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election
The thirteenth legislative assembly election, of Tamil Nadu was held on 8 May 2006. It was held for all 234 constituencies to elect the government in the state for the following five years. The votes were counted three days later on 11 May 2006 and all the results were out by the end of the day. 2001 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Election
The twelfth legislative assembly election of Tamil Nadu was held on 10 May 2001. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK)-led front won the elections and its general secretary, J. The seventh legislative assembly election to Tamil Nadu was held on 28 May 1980. The election was held two years before the end of the term of M. G. Ramachandran administration, as it was dissolved for the failure of state machinery by the then President of India Neelam Sanjiva Reddy.
