''Makkal'' ( ml; മക്കൾ) (English: Children) is a 2018 Indian Malayalam television series directed by Faisal Adimali. The show premiered on Mazhavil Manorama channel on Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 PM and later shifted to 7:00 PM due to poor TRP ratings. Plot The show revolves around the love, affection and ignorance between an elderly couple and their children. The kind of life they lead despite having their own children is a major factor in the story. Fathima Babu
Fathima Babu is a South Indian actress, former newsreader and socialite based out of Chennai who hails from Puducherry. Born in a Muslim family, Fathima began her public career as a newsreader for more than 25 years with DD Podhigai, the Tamil version of Doordarshan news, and later worked for Jaya TV. She later converted to Hinduism for her husband. She subsequently moved on to work in television serials, films and theatre performances, operating in the Tamil and Malayalam languages. Career Fathima became a newsreader with DD Podhigai, the Tamil version of Doordarshan, in the late 1980s. In 1989, she briefly went missing causing much speculation as to her disappearance. Palappurathu Kesavan Surendranatha Thilakan (15 July 1935 – 24 September 2012) was an Indian film and stage actor who appeared in over 200 Malayalam films. Dinesh Panicker is an Indian film producer, actor and TV producer. He entered the film industry in 1989 by producing '' Kireedam'', a critically acclaimed and commercially successful film. He went on to produce different genre films in Mollywood. Later, he started acting in Malayalam films and serials, and is now the general secretary of ATMA (Association of Television Media Artistes).
