	Majka (soap Opera) ''Majka'' is the Polish version of the popular Venezuelan soap opera ''Juana la virgen''. It was broadcast on weekdays on TVN from Monday, January 4, 2010. The pilot episode had been broadcast on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 after the final episode of '' Brzydula''. Plot The series follows the fortunes of Majka Olkowicz, who is a photography student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and fighting for a scholarship to a prestigious university in Florence Florence ( ; it, Firenze ) is a city in Central Italy and the capital city of the Tuscany region. 	Sławomir Pstrong Sławomir Pstrong (29 December 1975, Skórcz, Poland – 23 December 2015) was a Polish film and television director, screenwriter, and author of short stories. His thesis film for the University of Silesia in Katowice, ''T-Rex'', received awards at multiple festivals (including the Bronze Tadpole at the 2003 Camerimage awards, the Blue Tadpole for the best short film of the decade 1997-2007 at Camerimage 2008, and the Johnnie Waterman award at Prowincjonalia 2004). He also directed the independent film ''Plan'', among others, honored at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2010, and in the same year, his other film, ''Cisza'', received the Audience Award at the Koszalin Debut Film Festival "Młodzi i Film". 	Michał Lewandowski Michał Lewandowski (born 2 August 1996) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for IV liga club Sokół Kolbuszowa Dolna. Club career Lewandowski started his football with polish club Stal Mielec before moving to Italy and signing with second division side Crotone. He played for the club in the youth Campionato Nazionale Primavera before leaving the start of the 2016–17 season due to needing to have surgery on his wrist. 	Andrzej Andrzejewski Andrzej Piotr Andrzejewski (May 19, 1961 – January 23, 2008) was a Brigadier General of the Polish Air Force who died in the military plane crash in Mirosławiec along with other officers, among whom he was the highest ranking. A graduate of the Academy of National Defense (1995) and, previously, the High Air Force School (1985), he had spent a long career in the Polish Air Force. Andrzejewski barely escaped death when his fighter, an Su-22M-4K, was accidentally shot down by Kub (SA-6) missile during an exercise on August 19, 2003. He ejected from the plane into the Baltic Sea and was rescued after an hour and a half. Three years later, he was promoted to general and was appointed commander of the 1st Brigade of the Tactical Aircraft in Mirosławiec. He remained in command until his death.
