Mahdi
The Mahdi ( ar, ٱلْمَهْدِيّ, al-Mahdī, lit=the Guided) is a Messianism, messianic figure in Islamic eschatology who is believed to appear at the Eschatology, end of times to rid the world of evil and injustice. He is said to be a descendant of Muhammad who will appear shortly before the Prophets in Islam, prophet Jesus in Islam, ʿĪsā (Jesus) and lead Muslims to rule the world. Mahdi Al-Arabi
Mahdi al-Arabi, is a Libyan brigadier-general who served under the Libyan Armed Forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi. He was the deputy chief of staff of the Libyan army. During the 2011 Libyan civil war he was put in charge of helping to suppress protests, most notably in the Libyan city of Zawiya. Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai
Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Salami ( ar, عبد المهدي السلامي; born 1955), commonly known as Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai, is a Shia Muslim scholar, best known for being the official representative of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Al-Sistani in Iraq. Role Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai is based in Karbala, Iraq approximately 80 km from Najaf, where Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Al-Sistani resides. In practice, Sistani never delivers public sermons or speeches, and only releases official statements through Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi Al-Karbalai. Mahdi Quli Khan Hidayat
Mehdi Qoli Khan Hedayat ( fa, مهدی قلی هدایت), also known as Mokhber-ol Saltaneh (1863 – September 21, 1955), was Prime Minister of Iran and an author of several books on Iranian music, modern education, poetry, current affairs, and most notably a memoir covering his political tenure under the last 6 kings of Iran. Mahdi al-Harati (born c. 1973) is an Irish-Libyan politician and former co-commander of the Tripoli Brigade during the Libyan Civil War. He was also the commander of Liwaa Al-Umma, a militant group fighting against the Syrian government in the Syrian civil war. Before the Libyan civil war he was an Arabic teacher in Dublin, where he lived with his Irish-born wife and family. Mahdi Ahmed al-Hafez was Minister of Planning in the cabinet appointed by the Interim Iraq Governing Council in September 2003 and in the Iraqi Interim Government. Mahdi Al-Gharrawi
Lt. General Mahdi Sabeh Al-Gharrawi is an Iraqi police officer, the former Commander of the Iraqi Federal Police in Nineveh Province, and Lieutenant General of Iraqi Army. Gharawi, along with several other military leaders, was dismissed from his position by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on 17 June 2014 for failing in his "professional and military duty". His dismissal came a week after the fall of much of Northern Iraq to anti-government forces in the 2014 Northern Iraq offensive. He was sentenced to death by a military tribunal.
