Chettipalayam is a suburb of Coimbatore city in Tamil Nadu, India. Kartikeya ( sa, कार्त्तिकेय, Kārttikeya), also known as Skanda, Subrahmanya, Shanmukha (), and Murugan ( ta, முருகன்), is the Hindu god of war.
