Maeve Ellen O'Donovan, known professionally as Maeve Ellen, is a singer-songwriter from Limerick, Ireland. She was a finalist in the 2006/2007 final on the RTÉ programme ''You're a Star ''You're a Star'' is an Irish music competition series broadcast by RTÉ One from 2002 to 2008. Produced by the broadcaster and Screentime ShinAwiL, the series was similar to formats such as ''Idol'' and ''The X Factor''. For its first three se ...''. She made it to the semi-final. In the final week of the competition, her track, "Landslide", made it into the Irish music charts. The Irish Rugby Team (coached by her father Niall O'Donovan) pledged their support for her to win the "You're A Star" competition in which she came in third. Ardnacrusha (village)
Ardnacrusha ( ga, Ard na Croise) is a village in County Clare, Munster, Ireland, located on the northern bank of the River Shannon. By road, it is north of Limerick. The name derives from the phrase ''Ard na Croise'' meaning "the height of the cross", due to a large cross marker placed there in 1111 to mark the boundary of the Diocese of Limerick. In 1841, the village consisted of 17 houses and a population of 136. In 2002, the population was 926.
