Maestro! (2015 Film)
is a Japanese film released in 2015, directed by Kobayashi Shotaro. ''Maestro!'' stars Toshiyuki Nishida as Tendō and Tori Matsuzaka as Kōsaka and Miwa with Nobuyuki Tsujii and Yutaka Sado. The film featured as part of the LA Eiga Festival Plot An orchestra is reformed, after initially having been disbanded because of money. The group is reformed by a mysterious benefactor, whose management style annoys many of the players. The film is adopted from the popular manga of the same name. The story centres around the young violinist, Kosaka, who is offered a position in the re-formed prestigious orchestra. However, he is surprised to discover that the rehearsal place is a disused factory and performances of the members is somewhat erratic, as the majority of the best players have found positions elsewhere. Toshiyuki Nishida
is a Japanese actor. He has won two Japanese Academy Awards for best actor, for ''The Silk Road'' (1988) and ''Tsuribaka Nisshi 6'' (1993). He has also won the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Actor for '' Get Up!'' and '' Tsuribaka Nisshi 14'' (2003). Outside Japan he is best known for his role as Pigsy (Cho Hakkai) in ''Monkey''. Nishida serves as the current President of Japan Actors Union and Vice President of the Japan Academy Film Prize Organization Committee. He received the Order of the Rising Sun in 2018. Early life and family Nishida was born Toshiyuki Imai on November 4, 1947, in Kōriyama, Fukushima, to Izumi and Kie Imai. Miwa (stylised as miwa) (born 15 June 1990) is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She debuted in 2010 with the single " Don't Cry Anymore", which was used as the theme song for the drama ''Nakanai to Kimeta hi''. Her stage name officially starts with a lowercase letter 'm'. Biography History miwa was born in Hayama, Kanagawa, moving to Tokyo at a young age. Since her father had a great love for music, miwa naturally began to enjoy music as she grew up. miwa began writing songs at 15. She began to teach herself how to play the guitar after she entered high school, but gave up and paid for professional lessons after discovering she wasn't making much progress on her own.
