Mads Hansen (speedway Rider)
Mads Hansen (born 26 June 2000) is a Danish speedway rider. Career Hansen was the European Under-19 champion in 2018. After finishing fifth during the 2020 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship he won the first series race of the 2021 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship, which was held at Stralsund. In 2022, he helped SES win the 2022 Danish Super League. In October 2023, he paired up with Rasmus Jensen to win a silver medal at the European Pairs championship. The 2020 Individual Speedway Under 21 World Championship was the 44th edition of the FIM Individual Under-21 World Championship. 2023 Speedway Grand Prix
The 2023 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 29th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 78th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the second series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. Bartosz Zmarzlik was the defending champion, having won the 2022 title. Zmarzlik successfully retained the title, winning a fourth championship, despite being disqualified from round nine in Denmark. He beat Fredrik Lindgren by eight points, with Martin Vaculík securing the bronze medal. During the championships, Zmarzlik secured four Grand Prix wins after the Latvian Grand Prix, which equalled the 22 career Grand Prix wins of fellow Pole Tomasz Gollob. He then went on to win a fifth Grand Prix, which equalled the all-time record of 23 held by Jason Crump. The 2022 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 28th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 77th FIM Speedway World Championship. It was the first series promoted by Discovery Sports Events. Artem Laguta was the reigning champion, having won the 2021 title. However, due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, he and Emil Sayfutdinov did not return as all Russian and Belarusian riders had been suspended and were barred from participating any FIM-sanctioned events. The 2021 Speedway Grand Prix season was the 27th season of the Speedway Grand Prix era, and decided the 76th FIM Speedway World Championship. The series was dominated by Polish venues once again with six of the 11 races taking place in Poland. Great Britain and Germany did not hold an event, however Russia was added to the calendar for the first time. In 2020, six of the eight races had been held in Poland. Rasmus Jensen is a Danish motorcycle speedway rider. He is currently riding for Holsted Tigers in the Danish Speedway League and Gdańsk in the Polish Ekstraliga. Career Rasmus Jensen's career began in the year 2001. His first season in British racing was with Plymouth in 2013; at the end of the season, his official average was 7. At the end of the following 2014 Premier League season, his average was 6.14, and he was in fourth place among the Plymouth Devils riders' averages. Jensen completed 2016 with a 6.14 average and completed 2018 with a 6.59 average. He spent 2019 with the Second Division club Glasgow Tigers, and as of the 33rd issue of averages that season, he had an official average of 8.34, making his average the second highest on the team, behind British rider Craig Cook. Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes.
