Madison Square Park
Madison Square is a public square formed by the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway at 23rd Street in the New York City borough of Manhattan. The square was named for Founding Father James Madison, fourth President of the United States. The focus of the square is Madison Square Park, a public park, which is bounded on the east by Madison Avenue (which starts at the park's southeast corner at 23rd Street); on the south by 23rd Street; on the north by 26th Street; and on the west by Fifth Avenue and Broadway as they cross. The park and the square are at the northern (uptown) end of the Flatiron District neighborhood of Manhattan. The neighborhood to the north and west of the park is NoMad ("NOrth of MADison Square Park") and to the north and east is Rose Hill. Hoboken, New Jersey is home to many parks, historical landmarks, and other places of interest. It is located on Washington Street, across from City Hall. Castle Point Castle Point is the highest point in Hoboken. The name is a corruption of "Castille Point", due to its supposed resemblance to the Castilian coast in Spain. To early navigators, the high serpentine crag jutting over the river reminded them of a miniature Rock of Gibraltar (although the Rock of Gibraltar is actually in Andalusia, not Castile which has no coast). The land was bought at public auction in 1804 by Col. John Stevens, who built his estate there. Madison Park is an 8.3 acre (34,000 m²) park in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle, Washington, located between the western shore of Lake Washington on the east, 42nd Avenue E. on the west, E. Madison Street on the north, and E. Blaine Street on the south. 43rd Avenue E. divides it into two sections; the east is a swimming beach and public dock, and the west is a playground, playfield, and tennis courts. Next to the beach is Madison Park Co-op, a community playhouse for toddlers and children. For the first 19 years of its existence, the Madison Street Cable Railway ran on Madison Street from Elliott Bay to the park. Service was cut back to 21st Avenue in 1910. Madison Park is a neighborhood in east central Seattle, Washington, USA, named after the city park at the foot of E. Madison Street on the Lake Washington shore. It is bounded on the east by Lake Washington; on the south by the intersection of Lake Washington Boulevard E. and 39th Avenue E., beyond which is Denny-Blaine; on the west by Lake Washington Boulevard E.; and on the north by Union Bay. Washington Park and the private Broadmoor community and golf course are subunits within Madison Park. The neighborhood's main thoroughfares are E. Madison Park is an American electronica duo composed of husband and wife James and DeAnna Cool. Band history Madison Park released some of their first tracks on the first two volumes of New Sound Theory, a pair of Chill-out music, chill-out compilations released in 2003 through basicLUX Records, the record label they had founded in 2002. When their track “My Personal Moon,” from Volume 1, hit the Billboard Dance Singles Sales chart, they decided to release a full-length album, titled ''Boutique''. The album was released on March 23, 2004. "Ocean Drive", the album's lead single, entered the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart (since renamed the Dance Club Songs chart) as the Hot Shot Debut on the chart dated October 2, 2004. It eventually peaked at number 12, spending a total of 12 weeks on the chart. The song remains their highest-peaking chart entry.
