Made (Hawk Nelson Album)
''Made'' is the sixth studio album by Christian rock band Hawk Nelson, which was produced by Me in Motion, Seth Mosley and guitarist Jonathan Steingard. It was released on April 2, 2013 on the Fair Trade Services record label. It is the band's first album since the departure of lead vocalist Jason Dunn, with Steingard taking over as lead vocalist. The album marks the band's shift from the pop punk genre to a softer, contemporary alternative rock, alternative pop rock and has been met with commercial and critical success. Hawk Nelson is a Canadian Rock music, rock band from Peterborough, Ontario. Formed in 2000, the band has released eight studio albums to date. History Early independent releases (2000–2003) In 2000, Dunn, Clark, and Paige founded a Peterborough, Ontario, Peterborough-based group called "SWISH", while Biro sang lead vocals for a four-piece group called the "Cheese Monkeys from Planet Nine" from Barrie, Ontario. In 2000, SWISH released their first independent album, ''Riding Around the Park'' on Mime Radio, an independent record label based in Peterborough. Cross Rhythms is a Christian media organisation based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It operates an FM and online radio station, produces radio shows sent internationally, and its website has resources about contemporary Christian music. History 1983–2002 In 1983, Chris Cole started a 30-minute weekly Christian music radio show on Plymouth Sound FM, an Independent Local Radio station in Plymouth. Tenth Avenue North
Tenth Avenue North was an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) band from West Palm Beach, Florida that was active from 2000 to 2021. The group was formed while its founding members attended Palm Beach Atlantic University took its name from an east-west road in Palm Beach County. During its period of prominence, the band comprised Mike Donehey as the lead singer, Jason Jamison as the drummer, Jeff Owen as the guitarist, Ruben Juarez as the bassist, and Brendon Shirley as the keyboardist. The band released a total of fifteen original music projects, including eight full-length studio albums (six of which reached the Billboard 200, including one which reached the top 10) and multiple RIAA gold singles. Group 1 Crew was an American Christian hip hop band signed to Fervent Records and Warner Bros. Records. They made their debut with the hit song "Can't Go On" on WOW Hits 2007. Soon after they released their first EP ''I have a dream'' (2006), the band released their self-titled full-length debut studio album, ''Group 1 Crew'', in February 2007. Their song "Love is a Beautiful Thing" charted into the Top 20 in May 2007 on '' R&R'' magazine's Christian chart. Bart Millard
Bart Marshall Millard (born December 1, 1972) is an American singer and songwriter who is best known as the leader of the band MercyMe. He has also released two solo albums: '' Hymned, No. 1'', in 2005 and '' Hymned Again'' in 2008. He received a solo Grammy nomination in the category of Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album for the latter album. Band career In high school, Millard wanted to become a football player, a dream which ended when he injured both ankles at a high school football game. As a result, Millard took choir as an elective. Millard's father, Arthur Wesley Millard Jr., died in 1991, during Bart's first year of college, and his youth pastor invited him to work with the church's youth group worship band.
