Maccabi Shefa-'Amr F.C.
Maccabi Shefa-'Amr ( he, מכבי שפרעם) was an Israeli football club based in Shefa-'Amr. History The club was founded in 1968 and played in the lower divisions of Israeli football until the late 1970s, when the club enjoyed a period of success, after they won Liga Bet North A division in the 1979–80 season and were promoted to Liga Alef. Two seasons later, they finished runners-up in Liga Alef North division and qualified for the promotion play-off, where they faced the South division runners-up, Hapoel Bat Yam. After the first leg ended in a goalless draw, Shefa-'Amr made historic promotion to Liga Artzit, the second tier of Israeli football at the time, after they won the second leg by a result of 4–3 after extra time, with all their four goals scored by Zahi Armeli Zahi Armali ( ar, زاهي أرملي, he, זאהי ארמלי, born 25 October 1957) is a former Arab-Israeli footballer. The 2010–11 Liga Gimel season saw 92 clubs competing in 6 regional divisions for promotion to Liga Bet. F.C. Bu'eine (Upper Galilee), F.C. Daburiyya (Jezreel), Hapoel Baqa al-Gharbiyye (Samaria), F.C. Tira (Sharon), Gadna Tel Aviv (Tel Aviv) and Maccabi Be'er Ya'akov (Central) all won their respective divisions and were promoted to Liga Bet. The 2015–16 Liga Gimel season was the 48th season of fifth tier football in Israel, with 108 clubs competing in 8 regional divisions for promotion to Liga Bet. League matches began on 9 October 2015 and ended on 7 May 2016. Match Fixing In Association Football
The issue of match fixing in association football has been described, in 2013, by Chris Eaton, the former Head of Security of FIFA (the sport's world governing body), as a "crisis", while UEFA's president Michel Platini has said that if it continues, "football is dead." Zhang Jilong, president of the Asian Football Confederation, has stated that it is a "pandemic." The issue also affects a number of other sports across the world. In May 2011, world governing body FIFA announced an anti-match fixing plan, and in September 2012 FIFA President Sepp Blatter warned that match-fixing endangered "the integrity of the game."
