MTV Unplugged
''MTV Unplugged'' is an American television series on MTV showcasing musical artists usually playing acoustic instruments. The show aired regularly from 1989 to 1999 and less frequently from 2000 to 2009, when it was usually billed as ''MTV Unplugged No. 2.0''. Since 2009, ''MTV Unplugged'' specials have aired occasionally, sometimes online only. Episodes and specials have tended to showcase one artist or group, playing a combination of their hit songs and covers. Many of the artists who appeared on the show in the 1990s released their ''Unplugged'' session as an album, and some of these albums were commercial and critical hits. Eric Clapton's ''Unplugged (Eric Clapton album), Unplugged'' (1992) sold 26 million copies worldwide and became the best-selling live album of all time. MTV Unplugged (Shakira Album)
''MTV Unplugged'' is the first live album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira, released on 29 February 2000, by Columbia Records and Sony Latin. It was recorded on 12 August 1999, during her ''MTV Unplugged'' performance at the Grand Ballroom in New York City. The performance was released in 2000 as a live album, and again in 2002 as a DVD. It was critically acclaimed by American critics and earned Shakira her first Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album. Production and reception The Unplugged concert was the program's first episode to be broadcast entirely in Spanish and served as her major breakthrough in the U.S. market. Jim Burns (television Producer)
James Burns (c. 1952 – December 26, 2017) was an American television producer and writer who co-created ''MTV Unplugged'' with Robert Small in 1989. ''Unplugged'', which originally aired on MTV from 1989 to 1999, featured well-known musicians performing acoustic versions of their songs. The show, which was also produced by Burns and Small, earned three Primetime Emmy Awards during its initial ten-year run. Artists appearing on the series included Nirvana, Mariah Carey, Eric Clapton, LL Cool J, and 10,000 Maniacs. Nirvana (band)

"I'll Be There" is the first single released on ''Third Album'' by The Jackson 5. It was written by Berry Gordy, Hal Davis, Bob West, and Willie Hutch. The song was recorded by The Jackson 5 and released by Motown Records on August 28, 1970, as the first single from their ''Third Album'' on the same date. Produced by the songwriters, "I'll Be There" was The Jackson 5's fourth number-one hit in a row (after "I Want You Back" in 1969, "ABC" and "The Love You Save" earlier in 1970), making them the first group to have their first four singles reach number one and the first black male group with four consecutive number-one pop hits.
