M502 Railway (Croatia)
The Zagreb Glavni kolodvor–Sisak–Novska railway, officially designated the M502 railway is a railway line in Croatia connecting Zagreb to Sisak and Novska. Until 2014, the railway was classified as M104. The railway connects to the M101 and M202 lines at Zagreb Glavni kolodvor, the R102 at Sunja, and the M103 (to Zagreb via Dugo Selo) and the M104 to Vinkovci and Belgrade at the eastern terminus, Novska. The M502 railway is electrified using a 25 kV 50 Hz AC overhead line system and it is single-tracked. The maximum speed along the line varies between and . Lekenik
Lekenik is a village and a municipality in central Croatia, located between Sisak and Velika Gorica in the lowland region of Turopolje. Norman Jewison chose Lekenik to represent Anatevka for the 1971 film '' Fiddler on the Roof'', after visiting other sites in Austria, Canada, and Romania. Turopolje
Turopolje () is a region in Croatia situated between the capital city Zagreb and Sisak. The administrative center of the region Turopolje is the town of Velika Gorica. Geography Turopolje forms a part of Posavina, a region to the south of Zagreb bordering the right banks of the Sava river on the east, and the Vukomericke Gorice hills to the southwest. It extends across an alluvial plain 45 km in length and up to 23 km in width. The area of the region occupies an area of about 600 km2, with an average elevation of 110 m above sea level. D30 is a state road in central Croatia connecting Velika Gorica, Petrinja and Hrvatska Kostajnica to Croatian motorway network at the A3 motorway Kosnica interchange and to the City of Zagreb via Radnička Road. The road is long. The road, as well as all other state roads in Croatia, is managed and maintained by Hrvatske ceste, state owned company. Odra (Kupa)
Odra () is a river in central Croatia. It is long and its basin covers an area of . Its source is in the Žumberak mountain, southwest of Zagreb. Velika Gorica
Velika Gorica (; meaning "Great Vineyard/Forest") is the largest and most populous city in Zagreb County, Croatia. According to the 2011 census the city itself has a population of 31,341, while the municipality has a population of 63,517 inhabitants. Velika Gorica is the centre of the historical Turopolje region. Franjo Tuđman Airport, the largest and busiest airport in Croatia, is located in the area of Velika Gorica. Name The name of the city consists of two words. A11 (Croatia)
The A11 motorway ( hr, Autocesta A11) is an incomplete motorway in Croatia, long. It connects the Jakuševec interchange of the Zagreb bypass, to the south of Zagreb, to Velika Gorica and onwards to Sisak, but currently reaches only the Lekenik exit, as of the planned route, are completed.
