''M.O.L.'' is a video album by American heavy metal band Disturbed, released on DVD in 2002. It is a documentary showing the band while in studio and touring, and features interviews with members of the band. It also contains music videos and live performances of songs from Disturbed's debut album ''The Sickness''. Two other songs are also included – a music video for the demo version of " Perfect Insanity" and a non-album track titled "A Welcome Burden", which later appeared on the 10th anniversary edition of ''The Sickness''. ''M.O.L.'' stands for ''Meaning of Life'', a song from ''The Sickness''. It is not featured on this DVD, except for in-between chapters, where it is briefly played in the background. Disturbed (band)
Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes vocalist David Draiman, guitarist/keyboardist Dan Donegan, bassist John Moyer, and drummer Mike Wengren. Donegan and Wengren have been involved in the band since its inception, with Moyer replacing former bassist Steve "Fuzz" Kmak and Draiman replacing original lead vocalist Erich Awalt. The band has released eight studio albums, five of which have consecutively debuted at number one on the ''Billboard'' 200. Disturbed went into hiatus in October 2011, during which the band's members focused on various side projects, and returned in June 2015, releasing their first album in four years, '' Immortalized'' in August 2015. Dan Donegan
Daniel Joseph Donegan (born August 1, 1968) is an American musician who serves as the guitarist and keyboardist for heavy metal band Disturbed. Donegan began playing guitar as a teenager and eventually formed a band called Vandal, which was a 1980s-style glam metal band. He also played with some of the members of Vandal in another band that was called Loudmouth, and has pursued a side project band, Fight or Flight, in collaboration with Disturbed band member Mike Wengren. Donegan was added to the guitar show ''Chop Shop''s list of "Top 100 Most Complete Guitar Players of All Time" at number 76. David Draiman
David Michael Draiman ( he, דוד מיכאל דריימן; born March 13, 1973) is an American singer and songwriter. Noted for his distorted, operatic, baritone voice and percussive singing style, he is best known as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Disturbed since 1996. He has written some of the band's most successful singles, such as " Stupify", "Down with the Sickness", " Indestructible", and " Inside the Fire". In 2006, he was ranked at No. 42 on the ''Hit Parader'' list of "Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time". During Disturbed's hiatus from 2011 to 2015, he worked on an industrial metal project with Geno Lenardo, which was later named Device. They released one self-titled album in 2013. "Perfect Insanity" is a song by American heavy metal band Disturbed, released as a single from their fourth album '' Indestructible''. The song was originally written by the band prior to their debut album, ''The Sickness'', and was previously released on the band's documentary, ''M.O.L.'', as a demo track with a music video. The band re-recorded the song in 2007 and released it on ''Indestructible''. It is also featured in the video game '' WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009'' and is a downloadable track in the '' Rock Band'' series. An alternate title for the song, as seen in the booklet for the ''Indestructible'' CD, is "Condemnation". Mike Wengren
Michael Wengren (born September 3, 1971) is an American drummer, best known for his work with Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Disturbed (band), Disturbed. He is one of the founding members of the band, which was formed in 1994. Wengren is known for his bass drum techniques that have become a staple of Disturbed's music. Biography Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Wengren has been playing drums since around the age of 10. He attended Curie High School on the Southwest side of Chicago.
