Líjar
Líjar is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. On October 14, 1883, Lijar declared war on France because, "Our King Alfonso, when passing through Paris on the 29th day of September was stoned and offended in the most cowardly fashion by miserable hordes of the French nation." No actual fighting ever took place. In 1983, Lijar declared peace. The ''sovereignty dispute'' column indicates states having undisputed sovereignty (188 states, of which there are 187 UN member states and 1 UN General Assembly non-member observer state), states having disputed sovereignty (16 states, of which there are 6 UN member states, 1 UN General Assembly non-member observer state, and 9 de facto states), and states having a special political status (2 states, both in free association with New Zealand).
