In 1909, Adolf Ahlgren (1872-1954) introduced Läkerol. To this day, most Läkerol candies are stamped with the imprint of the letter "A". The company manufactures and sells local confectionery brands on its main markets Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany and the UK. The company has 8 factories in five countries, and the head office is in Solna. History In 1862, Christoph Cloëtta (1836–1897) and his two brothers Nutin Cloëtta and Bernard Cloëtta founded Danish chocolate manufacturer Brødrene Cloëttas steam chocolate factory. Royal warrants of appointment in Sweden are granted to the purveyor ( sv, Kunglig hovleverantör) by the monarch or other member of the royal family. To qualify for a warrant, the order must come from the Royal Court and the company must deliver its goods or services to the court.
