Lyutibrod Rocks
Lyutibrod Rocks ( bg, Лютибродски скали, ‘Lyutibrodski Skali’ \'lyu-ti-brod-ski ska-'li\) is the chain of rocks off the northwest coast of Low Island in the South Shetland Islands extending 860 m in east-west direction. The feature is named after the settlement of Lyutibrod in northwestern Bulgaria. Location The central and largest of Lyutibrod Rocks is located at , which is 400 m west of Fernandez Point and 1.95 km north-northeast of Solnik Point. South Shetland Islands
The South Shetland Islands are a group of Antarctic islands with a total area of . They lie about north of the Antarctic Peninsula, and between southwest of the nearest point of the South Orkney Islands. By the Antarctic Treaty of 1959, the islands' sovereignty is neither recognized nor disputed by the signatories and they are free for use by any signatory for non-military purposes. The islands have been claimed by the United Kingdom since 1908 and as part of the British Antarctic Territory since 1962. Low Island (South Shetland Islands)
Low Island or ''Isla Baja'', historical names ''Jameson Island'' or ''Jamesons Island'' is an island long and wide, southeast of Smith Island, in the South Shetland Islands. The island is located at and is separated from Smith Island by Osmar Strait. Low Island was so named because of its low elevation. Low Island was known to sealers in 1820, and the name Low Island has been established in international usage for 100 years. Lyutibrod
Lyutibrod ( bg, Лютиброд) is a village in Mezdra Municipality in Vratsa Province, western Bulgaria. As of 2007 it has a population of 452. The village is situated in the northern end of the Iskar Gorge, on the right bank of the river of the same name. On the opposite bank of the river are the Ritlite rock formation and the Cherepish Monastery is located at several kilometers to the south. Solnik Point ( bg, нос Солник, ‘Nos Solnik’ \'nos 'sol-nik\) is a rocky point projecting 550 m from the northwest coast of Low Island in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctica. The Antarctic Place-names Commission was established by the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute in 1994, and since 2001 has been a body affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.
