Lyon is a town in Coahoma County, Mississippi, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 296. History The town is named after the French city of Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Geography Lyon is located in east-central Coahoma County. It is bordered to the west and south by the city of Clarksdale, the county seat.
