Lynwood Park
Lynwood Park is a football stadium in St Helens Park, Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia, which has a capacity of 3,000. Owned by Campbelltown City Council, it is the second largest stadium in Macarthur. The stadium is the home ground of Macarthur Rams FC, hosting both its men's and women's teams' games. History Redevelopments In August 2013, the Macarthur Football Association announced a proposed redevelopment of Lynwood Park. The redevelopment would consist of the installation of a synthetic pitch, as well as other general improvements to the facility. The pitch was to be made of a compressed road base, a drainage cell, 25mm of shock absorption rubber, carpet, grass strands, sand and rubber pellets. St Helens Park
St Helens Park is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 56 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Campbelltown. it is part of the Macarthur region. History St Helens Park draws its name from a Gothic mansion built in 1887 by George Charles Westgarth, a Sydney solicitor. The mansion still stands at the southern end of St Helens Park Drive but it's not the oldest building in the suburb. That honour goes to a farmhouse on Appin Road called Denfield and Curtilage which was built in the 1830s by John Farley of Fisher's Ghost fame. Both buildings are listed on the Register of the National Estate. By the 1940s, the St Helens Park property had become a fly spray testing laboratory and acquired the local nickname ''Blowfly Farm''. Russell Glenn Matheson (born 16 December 1958) is a former Australian politician who served as a Member of the Australian House of Representatives for the seat of Macarthur representing the Liberal Party of Australia from August 2010 to July 2016.
