Lynnsha
Sophie Jordier (born in France on 4 January 1979), better known by her stage name Lynnsha, is a French R&B-zouk singer. She has released four albums, self-titled ''Lynnsha'' (2004), ''Elle & moi'' (2008), Île & moi (2013) & Over & Other (2018). Career Lynnsha started singing in choirs at the age of five became a lead chorist in an Afro-Caribbean formation and also sang in French choirs. In 1995, she is discovered by Kaysha who hires her to do backing vocals for Kim, and then for his 1998 album "I'm ready" and other productions. Lord Kossity proposed for her to sing on his song " Lova Girl" in 2001. She was also featured on Lady Laistee single "Diamant noir" on her debut album. After taking part in Admiral T album, she was featured in "Secret Lover" with Wyclef Jean and in "Trop de peine" as a duet with Calbo from the band Arsenik. Tropical Family
''Tropical Family'' is a banner for a musical collective of artists who came together in 2013 to collaborate on an album of tropical music and summer-y dance songs. The 12-track album was released on 1 July 2013, with 12 cover versions of well-known songs by diverse artists. A Deluxe edition was released in November with four additional tracks included. Initially, Serge Gainsbourg's "Couleur café" as performed by Louisy Joseph had been recorded, but eventually it was set aside in favor of Teri Moïse song "Les Poèmes de Michelle" as interpreted by Slaï on the album. Fanny Jacques-André-Coquin better known as Fanny J (born in Cayenne in French Guiana on 6 October 1987) is a French singer of zouk and contemporary R&B. Career She started very early in music taking part in various local music competitions in Guiana like Révélation Podium and Podium Inter-Lycées de Guyane and very early on adopted the zouk genre of music. During one of the competitions, she met Warren, a well-known songwriter and producer who offered the song "On t'a zappé" for her. In 2006, she moved to Limoges, France for her studies, but continued her musical aspirations preparing for an album. In 2007, Warren wrote "Ancrée à ton port" for her. She released her debut album ''Vous les Hommes'' in 2007 on Section Zouk record label with 16 tracks in a number of languages. "Walking Away" is a song by English singer Craig David. It was written by David and Mark Hill and released as the third single from his debut studio album, '' Born to Do It'' (2000), on 20 November 2000. It reached number three in the United Kingdom and number one in New Zealand, where it became the most successful song of 2001 according to the Recording Industry Association of New Zealand (now Recorded Music NZ). In 2008, the track was re-recorded for David's ''Greatest Hits'' compilation, released in November 2008 in the United Kingdom. Lydy Louisy-Joseph (born 14 April 1978 in Vénissieux, a suburb of Lyon, France), better known by the shorter name Louisy Joseph, is a French singer of Martinique origin. She first joined the French series of ''Popstars'' as part of the girl band L5, and since 2008 has been performing as a solo singer. Kaysha (born 1974) is a singer/rapper and producer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He is the son of Congolese politician Édouard Mokolo Wa Mpombo. Career He was born in Kinshasa but emigrated to France with his parents at the age of seven. Zouk is a musical movement pioneered by the French Antillean band Kassav' in the early 1980s. It was originally characterized by a fast tempo (120–145 bpm), a percussion-driven rhythm and a loud horn section. The fast zouk béton of Martinique and Guadeloupe faded away during the 1980s. Musicians from Martinique and Guadeloupe added MIDI instrumentation to their compas style, which developed into zouk-love.
