Lynn Faulds Wood
Lynn Faulds Wood (25 March 1948 – 24 April 2020) was a Scottish television presenter and journalist. She co-presented the British television programme ''Watchdog'' with her husband John Stapleton. Early life and career Faulds Wood was born on 25 March 1948 in Glasgow and grew up on Loch Lomond side. She gained an MA in languages from Glasgow University. She taught French at Holland Park School for two years. Her early career in journalism involved periods at IPC Magazines' ''Woman'' (1977–79), the ''Daily Mail'' (1979–80) then "Lynn's Action Line" at '' The Sun''. When breakfast television began in the early 1980s, Faulds Wood joined TV-am as their "Consumer Champion" from 1983–84 then moved to the BBC's '' Breakfast Time'' from 1984 to 1986. She is best known for turning ''Watchdog'' into a peak time BBC One series, presenting the programme from 1985 to 1993 with her husband John Stapleton. St Margarets, London
St Margarets is a suburb and neighbourhood in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, about west-southwest of central London. It is bounded by the Thames Tideway to the north-east, and the River Crane to the north-west and north where the land tapers between these rivers. Land and buildings closer to Richmond Bridge than the eponymous railway station are, traditionally distinctly, known as East Twickenham. Noel's House Party
''Noel's House Party'' is a BBC light entertainment series that was hosted by Noel Edmonds. Set in a large house in the fictional village of Crinkley Bottom, leading to much innuendo, it ran from 23 November 1991 to 26 March 2000 on BBC One, and for 8 series was broadcast live on Saturday evenings. The show, once described by a senior corporation executive as "the most important show on the BBC", was cancelled in February 1999 due to declining ratings, although two further compilation specials were shown in March 2000. Noel Ernest Edmonds (born 22 December 1948) is an English television presenter, radio DJ, writer, producer, and businessman. Edmonds first became known as a disc jockey on Radio Luxembourg before moving to BBC Radio 1 in the UK. Gunged
Gunge as it is known in the United Kingdom, or slime as it is known in the United States and most English-speaking areas of the world, is a thick, gooey, yet runny substance with a consistency somewhere between that of paint and custard. It has been a feature on many children's programs for many years around the world and has made appearances in game shows as well as other programming. While gunge mostly appears on television, it can also be used as a fundraising tool for charities, youth and religious groups. Gunge tanks have appeared at nightclubs and Fun Days. ''French and Saunders'' is a British sketch comedy television series written by and starring comedy duo and namesake Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders that originally broadcast on BBC2 from 1987 to 1993, and later on BBC One until 2017. Robert Frederick Chelsea Moore (12 April 1941 – 24 February 1993) was an English professional footballer. He most notably played for West Ham United, captaining the club for more than ten years, and was the captain of the England national team that won the 1966 FIFA World Cup. ITV (TV Network)
