Lyng Hall School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Coventry, England. It is known for its community work within its local area and the city of Coventry. Lyng Hall's student composition is ethnically diverse and supports students from many backgrounds and countries, many of which speak English in addition to their mother tongues. The school also has an above-average population of students who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Academy (English School)
An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. Colleen Margaret Fletcher (''née'' Dalton; born 23 November 1954) is a British Labour Party politician. She was first elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Coventry North East in the 2015 general election. Prior to her parliamentary career, she was a local councillor. Aikido ( , , , ) is a modern Japanese martial art that is split into many different styles, including Iwama Ryu, Iwama Shin Shin Aiki Shuren Kai, Shodokan Aikido, Yoshinkan, Renshinkai, Aikikai and Ki Aikido. Foundation School
In England and Wales, a foundation school is a state-funded school in which the governing body has greater freedom in the running of the school than in community schools. Foundation schools were set up under the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 to replace grant-maintained schools, which were funded directly by central government.
