Lyndsey Patterson
Lyndsey Raye Patterson (born December 7, 1982) is an American professional soccer midfielder and forward who plays for the Seattle Sounders Women of the W-League. Early life Born and raised in Puyallup, Washington located just five miles east of Tacoma, Patterson attended Puyallup High School. University of Tennessee Lyndsey played for the University of Tennessee where she started 88 of 91 matches from 2001 to 2004 and was a three-time All-SEC selection. She ranked seventh all-time in scoring (64 points), eighth in goals (20), and sixth in assists (24). Playing career Club Atlanta Silverbacks Patterson helped lead the Atlanta Silverbacks to first-place finishes in 2007 and 2008. Puyallup High School
Puyallup High School is a high school in the Puyallup School District in Pierce County, Washington, commonly referred to as PHS. History Founded in 1890 as Central High School, the first nine students graduated from the school in 1893. In 1902, the first class to complete four years of high school graduated. In 1928 the new high school building was completed at an approximate cost of $30,000-$35,000. The name of the school then changed from Central High to Puyallup High School. In 1919 the school was expanded adding a junior high along with the gym and auditorium. In 1926 a total of 112 students graduated. Fire The next year (1927), fire hit PHS and the graduation ceremony was held at the Liberty Theater. A new and larger auditorium was added in 1935. Starfire Sports is a multi-purpose stadium and sporting facility in Tukwila, Washington, United States. It is located on the banks of the Green River, just south of Seattle. The stadium is operated by the nonprofit corporation Starfire Sports and is home to several soccer and rugby teams. The 2010 Women's Professional Soccer season was the second season for the WPS, the top level professional women's soccer league in the United States. Regular season champion FC Gold Pride won the WPS Championship on September 26 with a 4-0 victory over the Philadelphia Independence.
