Lycée Alexandre Dumas (Saint-Cloud)
Lycée Alexandre Dumas is a senior high school/ sixth-form college in Saint-Cloud, Hauts-de-Seine, France, in the Paris metropolitan area. It was previously named Lycée Florent-Schmitt but in 1996 a musical philosophy teacher from the school discovered pamphlets dating from the 1930s in which the namesake, Florent Schmitt, denounced German Jews and Israelite (Jewish) influence on music. Afterward there had been multiple attempts to change the school's name. () It has be renamed in the honor of Alexandre Dumas in 2003. Saint-Cloud
Saint-Cloud () is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris, France, from the centre of Paris. Like other communes of Hauts-de-Seine such as Marnes-la-Coquette, Neuilly-sur-Seine and Vaucresson, Saint-Cloud is one of France's wealthiest towns, with the second-highest average household income of communities with 10,000 to 50,000 households. In 2019, it had a population of 30,012.
