Lyana Chirinos
Lyana Merkel Chirinos Pérez (born 21 June 1992) is a Peruvian Women's association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward. She was a member of the Peru women's national football team, Peru women's national team. College career Chirinos attended the Darton State College and the Lindsey Wilson College, both in the United States. International career Chirinos represented Peru at the 2008 South American U-17 Women's Championship and the 2012 South American U-20 Women's Championship. At senior level, she played two Copa América Femenina editions (2010 South American Women's Football Championship, 2010 and 2014 Copa América Femenina, 2014). Personal life Chirinos' paternal grandmother is of Italian descent. Peru Women's National Football Team
The Peru women's national football team represents Peru in international women's football and is controlled by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) (Federación Peruana de Fútbol in Spanish) as a part of the CONMEBOL federation. Peru's best result in major international competitions was in the 1998 Sudamericano Femenino, where they achieved third place. ''La Blanquirroja'' is coached by Marta Tejedor and plays the majority of its games in the Estadio Nacional. History On 1996 the Peruvian Peruvian Football Federation created the Peruvian Primera División Femenina under de name of Metropolitan women's footbal championship (currently known as Liga Femenina). On that basis, in 1998 the federation gathered its very best players into a national team, whose first international appearance was the third South American Women's Football Championship played in Argentina.
