LuxAnimation was a Luxembourgish animation studio based in Doncols, Luxembourg. The company was founded in 2000 by Lilian Eche and Ariane Payen. The company works with many companies to produce animated programs and movies. Since 2006, LuxAnimation has been owned by MoonScoop Group. In June 2010, LuxAnimation opened a department called Luxatelier, which dedicated to audiovisual projects for cinema and television. In 2014, Splash Entertainment owned MoonScoop Group and all its subsidiaries. Di-Gata Defenders
''Di-Gata Defenders'' is an animated series created by Greg Collinson that was produced by LuxAnimation and Nelvana Entertainment. The series follows the travels and adventures of six teenagers, part of an organization called the Di-Gata Defenders. Their mission as heroes is to defend RaDos against evil factions. The series aired for two seasons. Creation In 2005, Nelvana Entertainment created a project called the Funpack. It was designed to allow creators to pitch and create 5 minute interstitials. At the time, Greg Collinson didn't plan on pitching anything for this project until a colleague of his discussed about it on a train ride. He spent two weeks creating the "bible" for his series idea, which was initially named Power Stone Warriors. In this bible, he planned out the prototype characters, factions, and the universe the series would take place in. He later meets with the executives at Nelvana and Greg pitches his bible to them. MoonScoop Group
The MoonScoop Group was a French animation and production company that created and published animated television series. Its corporate headquarters were located in Paris, France, along with offices in the United Kingdom and the United States. It was established in 2003. It is most famously known for ''Code Lyoko'' and its open-ended sequel series, '' Code Lyoko: Evolution''. History One of MoonScoop's predecessors was France Animation, founded in 1984. The Large Family
''The Large Family'' (French: ''La Famille Trompette'') is a British-French animated children's television series based on the book series of the same name written by Jill Murphy and published by Walker Books in the United Kingdom. The series was produced by Indie Kids (later acquired by Coolabi, who produced later episodes), GO-N Productions, LuxAnimation (Season 1) and DQ Entertainment with the participation of TF1, Playhouse Disney France and CBeebies (Season 2). It aired on CBeebies in the UK (and on other countries with a version of CBeebies) and TF1 in France. The series focuses on a family of anthropomorphic elephants, the Larges. ''Babar and the Adventures of Badou'' is a computer-animated children's television series that premiered in 2010 based on the characters created by Jean and Laurent de Brunhoff. The series takes place several years after the original series and has created new characters to the Babar universe, including Badou, who is Babar's 8-year-old grandson and the protagonist of the series. ''Robotboy'' is a Anglo-French-American animated television series produced by Gaumont Animation (originally Alphanim) for France 3 and Cartoon Network Europe, in association with studios LuxAnimation and Cofinova 1 for ''Series 1'' only. In a total of 52 23-minute episodes with 104 segments produced, it was created and designed by Jan Van Rijsselberge. ''Dragon Hunters'' ( French: ''Chasseurs de dragons'') is a 2008 French-German-Luxembourgish 3D computer-animated fantasy film telling the adventures of two dragon hunters, written by Frédéric Engel-Lenoir, directed by creator Arthur Qwak and Guillaume Ivernel with music by Klaus Badelt and produced by Philippe Delarue and Tilo Seiffert. It features the voices of Vincent Lindon, Patrick Timsit, Marie Drion in the French version and Forest Whitaker, Rob Paulsen and Mary Mouser in the English version.
