Lutfur Rahman George
Lutfur Rahman George (born 1 July 1963) is a Bangladeshi television and film actor. He has worked in films like Aguner Poroshmoni and Aynabaji. He is currently the organizational editor of Actors’ Equity Bangladesh. Career Lutfur started his acting career in theatre in 1985, working with the renowned company, Nagorik Natya Sampradaya. He went on to essay the role of Mojnu, in Humayun Ahmed's hit television series, ''Kothao Keu Nei''. He then starred in Aguner Poroshmoni (1994) directed by Humayun Ahmed and Pokamakorer Ghorbosoti (1996). Then he concentrated on business away from acting for 14 years. After that he returned to acting after recovering from a Myocardial infarction, heart attack. His role in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's TV drama ''420'' was also highly praised. ''Radio'' (Bengali: রেডিও) is a 2023 Bangladeshi war-drama film about the Bangladesh Liberation War. The film is directed by Anonno Mamun and written by Anon Zaman. The film is about the historic 7 March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It had a limited premiere on television in 7 March and later got a release in cinema halls. Chorki is a Bangladeshi subscription-based over-the-top media service and original programming production company, owned by Transcom Group via Prothom Alo subsidiary of Mediastar Limited, and was launched on 12 July 2021 worldwide. The service primarily shows original content and content from other third-party providers, including television series, films, and documentaries. The service is available in an ad-free version with limited content, while the premium tier includes a larger content library including original shows and films.
