Lutfun Nahar Lata
Lutfun Nahar Lata or Lota ( Lata Nasiruddin) is a Bangladeshi actress and director, known for ''Ei Shob Din Ratri'' (1985), ''Eka Eka'' (1985), and ''Bohubrihi'' (1988). She started her acting career in the late 1980s, and after she took a long break from acting in 1997. Biography She was born in Bangladesh. In 1997 she moved to New York City, and lives there. After the separation with Major Nasir Uddin she married Marc Weinberg, a Swiss American businessman in 2014. In 2017, she published a story book named Jibon O Juddher College. She was president of United States Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote. She serves in the New York City Department of Education. ''Bohubrihi'' was one of the most popular drama serials ever aired on Bangladesh Television. The bangla word Bohubrihi means the multiple dimension of anything and here it means the mystery of life. The story was written by famous author, dramatist, screenwriter, playwright and filmmaker Humayun Ahmed. "Bohubrihi" the same named book is an adaptation from the drama serial, which is an extremely rare case for the creator Humayun Ahmed. ''Eisob Dinratri'' ('' en, All These Days and Nights'') is a 1985 Bangla family-drama written by Humayun Ahmed and aired on BTV. The drama tells the story of a middle class joint family that lives in the capital city Dhaka. The drama shows the happiness, love, marriage, deaths and troubles a middle class family in Bangladesh faces in everyday life. The story ends with the death of a young girl called "''Tuni''" due to a life threatening disease called Leukemia. Viewers of the serial demanded Humayun Ahmed to save the character "''Tuni''". But Ahmed stood on his decision. Humayun Ahmed wrote the story of the drama series for the purpose of raising money to buy a television. Desperate actors and actress criticized the matter for stopping writing the story of the drama as soon as the money was raised to buy a television.
