''Lupin the 3rd Part III: The Pink Jacket Adventures'', also known simply as is a Japanese anime television series produced by TMS Entertainment. Part of the ''Lupin III'' franchise, it is the third anime television adaptation of the ''Lupin III'' manga series created by Monkey Punch. The series aired on Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation between March 3, 1984 and November 6, 1985. Among English-speaking fans, the series is commonly known as the "Pink Jacket" series in reference to the title character's outfit, which replaces ''Part I''s green jacket and ''Part II''s red jacket with a bright pink one. The feature film ''Legend of the Gold of Babylon'' (1985) was released in theaters during the original broadcast run of this television series, and remains the only film in the ''Lupin III'' franchise to feature the pink jacket. Gorō Naya
was a Japanese actor, voice actor, narrator and theatre director from Hakodate, Hokkaidō. He and his brother were two of seven children, and was a drop-out of the legal education division of Ritsumeikan University. He was connected to Theatre Echo, and was the older brother of actor and voice actor Rokurō Naya. Naya is best known for providing the voice of Inspector Koichi Zenigata in the ''Lupin III'' franchise and for dubbing over the voices of actors Clark Gable, Charlton Heston, John Cleese, Lee Van Cleef, Martin Landau and Robert Ryan in the Japanese-language editions of their films. is a Japanese actress and narrator. She works for Aoni Production. She is most known for originating the roles of Fujiko Mine (''Lupin III''), Honey Kisaragi (''Cutie Honey''), and Bakabon's Mama (''Tensai Bakabon''). Yasuo Yamada
was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator. Career Yamada left the faculty of literature of Waseda University, and had performed in many stage, radio, and television productions. He appeared in performances of plays by Hisashi Inoue. His most famous role was Arsène Lupin III from the ''Lupin III'' series, starting in 1971 and ending in 1995. He was also the official Japanese dubbing voice actor of Clint Eastwood and Jean-Paul Belmondo. On March 19, 1995 Yasuo Yamada died of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 62. At the end of the credits of the film ''Farewell to Nostradamus'' (the first Lupin film without Yamada), there is a tribute: "To Yasuo Yamada, Eternal Lupin the Third: Thank you!" He is named after the famous fictional Japanese detective Zenigata Heiji, of whom he is a descendant. was a legendary Japanese outlaw hero who stole gold and other valuables to give to the poor. He and his son were boiled alive in public after their failed assassination attempt on the Sengoku period warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi.
