Lungtok Dawa born on 18 December 1998 is a Bhutanese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Transport United and the Bhutan national team. Playing career He made his first appearance for the Bhutan national football team in 2015 in their historic World Cup qualifying match against Sri Lanka. He also featured in a number of their second qualifying round matches and also featured in the 2015 SAFF Championship. Along with playing football he is also a college going student. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – AFC Second Round
The second round of AFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (and 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification) was played from 24 May 2015 to 29 March 2016. Format A total of forty teams (teams ranked 1–34 in the AFC entrant list and six first round winners) were divided into eight groups of five teams to play home-and-away round-robin matches. Royal Thimphu College is a private college in Thimphu, Bhutan under the Royal University of Bhutan. It is Bhutan's first private college. 2015 SAFF Championship
The 2015 SAFF Championship (officially known as the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2015 for sponsorship reasons) was the 11th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's football championship of South Asia organized by SAFF. It was held in India from 23 December 2015 to 3 January 2016. Heading into the tournament, Afghanistan were the defending champions of the tournament, with it also being the last time they can officially take part, as they have become members of the newly formed Central Asian Football Association. Originally scheduled to take place in July 2015, monsoon season and schedule congestion led to the tournament being postponed to late December.
