Lunga Shabalala
Lunga Shabalala (born 22 May 1989), is a South African actor, TV presenter and model. He rose to fame as a presenter on the SABC 1 entertainment and variety TV show, ''Selimathunzi''. He got his first acting role on the soap opera '' The River,'' which he currently stars on. Early life Lunga was born and raised in Pietermaritzburg. He attended Maritzburg College. While he was at the school, he was classmates with now South African actor, Zenzelisphesihle Xulu and singer Mario Ogle. Upon completing his schooling, he completed a diploma in Town planning. As he later stated, this was not the career for him. Career He moved to Johannesburg to work in the television industry. His first job was in a Coca-Cola commercial. In August 2010, he entered a Calvin Klein modeling competition called Represent South Africa. He won the competition, garnering public attention. He then broke into television. Pietermaritzburg
Pietermaritzburg (; Zulu: umGungundlovu) is the capital and second-largest city in the province of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. SABC 3
SABC 3 (stylised as S3) is a South African free-to-air public television network owned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). It carries programming in English and, few in other South African languages. It has a number of its own reality and talk shows and had lately introduced a new series called “The Estate”. As of June 2018, it has been broadcasting in high definition. In April 2021, the channel rebranded and is stylised as S3. Legacy (South African TV Series)
''Legacy'' was a South African television drama telenovela series created by executive producers Phatutshedzo Makwarela and Gwidyon Benyon. It is an M-Net original production for premium subscription television channel M-Net produced by Tshedza Pictures. The series focuses on the Price family and the struggle for power over the Price empire after the death of the family's patriarch Sebastian Price. This is the channel's very first telenovela. On 22 May 2021/15th Annual SAFTA, it won its first award for Best Telenovela category. Pearl Modiadie (born December 29, 1987) is a South African television presenter, radio DJ, actress and producer best known to TV audiences for presenting the SABC1 music talk show Zaziwa. Bonang Dorothy Matheba (born 25 June 1987), is a South African award-winning television presenter, radio personality, actress and social media personality. South African Music Awards
The South African Music Awards (often simply the SAMAs) are the Recording Industry of South Africa's music industry awards, established in 1995. The ceremony is held annually, usually in late April or May, with the judging process starting in November of the previous year. The nominations are typically announced at the end of March. The winners receive a gold-plated statuette called a SAMA. The show has mostly been held at the Super Bowl in Sun City, with the exception of three years, and broadcast live on national broadcaster, SABC. ''MasterChef'' is a competitive cooking reality show produced by Endemol Shine UK and Banijay and broadcast in 60 countries around the world. In the UK, it is produced by the BBC.
