Luna Island
Luna Island is a very small uninhabited island in the Niagara River, in the U.S. state of New York (state), New York. Location and features Luna Island is in Niagara Falls, New York between Goat Island (New York), Goat Island and Niagara Falls State Park. Goat Island (New York)
Goat Island (previously called Iris Island) is a small island in the Niagara River, in the middle of Niagara Falls between the Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. The island is at the southwest corner of the City of Niagara Falls (and of Niagara County), New York, in the United States and is part of Niagara Falls State Park. Goat Island has no residents, but is a destination for tourists visiting the falls on the U.S. side. It has several viewing points, including from Terrapin Point. Schoellkopf Geological Museum
The Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, also known as the Schoellkopf Geological Museum, is on the American side of Niagara Falls within Niagara Falls State Park and the city of Niagara Falls, New York. Dolomite (also known as dolomite rock, dolostone or dolomitic rock) is a sedimentary carbonate rock that contains a high percentage of the mineral dolomite, CaMg(CO3)2.
