''Lukochuri'' (Bengali: লুকোচুরি) is a Bengali romantic comedy film directed by Kamal Majumdar and produced in the banner of Kishore Kumar Films. The film stars Kishore Kumar, Mala Sinha and Anita Guha in lead roles. The film was released on 27 June 1958. Plot Kumar leaves home for a job in Bombay and stays with his twin brother Sankar. Shankar wants to be a musician and is in love with an artist, Geeta. In the office, he meets Reeta (Geeta's younger sister) with whom his friendship soon develops into love. Anita Guha
Anita Guha (17 January 1932 – 20 June 2007) was an Indian actress who usually played mythological characters in films. She became known for playing the title role in ''Jai Santoshi Maa'' (1975). Previously, she had played Sita in other mythological films; ''Sampoorna Ramayana'' (1961), ''Shree Ram Bharat Milap'' (1965) and ''Tulsi Vivah'' (1971). Hemanta Mukhopadhyay (16 June 1920 – 26 September 1989), known professionally as Hemant Kumar and Hemanta Mukherjee, was a legendary Indian music composer and playback singer who primarily sang in Bengali and Hindi, as well as other Indian languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Assamese, Tamil, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Sanskrit and Urdu. Ruma Guha Thakurta (21 November 1934 – 3 June 2019) was an Indian actress and singer primarily associated with Bengali language films. She founded Calcutta Youth Choir in 1958. Early life Ruma Guha Thakurta was born on 3 November 1934 to Satyen Ghosh (Monty Ghosh) and singer Sati Devi. Her family was culturally inclined to Brahmo Samaj, a societal component of Brahmoism. Sati was a trained vocalist and a niece of Bijoya Ray, the wife of Satyajit Ray. Ruma Guha Thakurta began as a dancer. Later, she went to Almora Academy of Uday Shankar at Lahore to study dance.
