Rilwanu Lukman
Rilwanu Lukman (26 August 1938 – 21 July 2014) was a Nigerian engineer who held several ministerial positions in the Nigerian Federal government before becoming Secretary General of OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) from 1 January 1995 to 31 December 2000. He died on 21 July 2014. On 18 December 2008, Lukman was appointed Minister of Petroleum Resources by Nigerian president Umaru Yar'Adua, holding office until March 2010. Birth, education and early career Lukman was born in Zaria, Kaduna State. He trained as a mining engineer at the College of Arts, Science, and Technology, Zaria (now Ahmadu Bello University), and then at Imperial College, London. He earned a higher degree in mining engineering from the University of Mining and Metallurgy in Leoben, Austria (1967–1968). He obtained a degree in Mineral Economics from McGill University, Montreal in 1978, and an honorary doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bologna in Italy. ...

Early life and career Lukman Sardi was born on July 14, 1971, in Jakarta, Indonesia. Lukman is a son of the legend violinist musician Idris Sardi and is a grandchild of Mas Sardi. Lukman Abdulkarim Haruna (born 4 December 1990) is a Nigerian former Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career In December 2007, AS Monaco FC, AS Monaco signed Haruna on a four-year contract. In June 2011, he signed a five-year contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv. Imoro Lukman (born October 4, 1984) is a Ghanaian football player who played in Israel for Hapoel Petah Tikva football club. Career Lukman started his career with Real Sportive and later on he moved to Maccabi Netanya from the Israeli Premier League. Lukman Alade Fakeye (born June 25, 1983, in Ibadan) is a Yoruba Nigerian sculptor and woodcarver. The youngest in the Fakeye family of carvers, he is a nephew of Lamidi Olonade Fakeye, who carved the doors of the African Room at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D. C.
