Luke Musgrave
Lucas Stone Musgrave (born September 2, 2000) is an American football tight end for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oregon State. He is the nephew of football coach Bill Musgrave. Early years Musgrave was born on September 2, 2000, and attended Bend Senior High School. He was a member of their football, lacrosse, track, and ski racing teams. As a senior, Musgrave caught 31 passes for 563 yards and four touchdowns. College career Musgrave played in all 12 of Oregon State's games during his freshman season, catching two passes for 18 yards and making two tackles on special teams. He played in seven games with three starts in the Beavers' COVID-19 shortened 2020 season and had 12 receptions for 142 yards. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic.
