Luke Mitrani
Luke Mitrani (born July 20, 1990 in New York City) is a former professional snowboarder and an aspiring musician. Luke placed 1st in the halfpipe at the 2011 Winter Dew Tour with the highest score in Dew Tour history, 97.00. He has also placed 1st at many U.S Snowboarding Grand Prix competitions. Luke was the youngest person to ever make the US Snowboarding Team at the age of 12. Early life Luke was born in New York City on July 20, 1990. He was raised in Stratton, Vermont. Luke previously lived in Truckee, California with fellow snowboarder and friend, Danny Davis. Luke is a part of the Frends Crew made up of snowboarders Mason Aguirre, Kevin Pearce, Jack Mitrani, Keir Dillon, Danny Davis, Scotty Lago and Mikkel Bang. Truckee, California
Truckee is an incorporated town in Nevada County, California, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population was 16,180, reflecting an increase of 2,316 from the 13,864 counted in the 2000 Census and having the 316th highest population in California and 2114th in the United States. Name Truckee's existence began in 1863 as Gray's Station, named for Joseph Gray's Roadhouse on the trans-Sierra wagon road. A blacksmith named Samuel S. Coburn was there almost from the beginning, and by 1866 the area was known as Coburn's Station. Mammoth Mountain is a lava dome complex partially located within the town of Mammoth Lakes, California, in the Inyo National Forest of Madera and Mono Counties. It is home to a large ski area primarily on the Mono County side. Mammoth Mountain was formed in a series of eruptions that ended 57,000 years ago. Danny Davis (snowboarder)
Danny Davis (born June 22, 1988 in Highland, Michigan) is a professional snowboarder. He was voted 2006 Rookie of the Year in the Transworld Snowboarding Riders Poll Awards, 2006 Rookie of the Year for Snowboarder Magazine, and 2008 Snowboarder Magazine Top 10 Riders of the Year. In January 2010 Davis won a snowboard Grand Prix event but not a spot on the US Olympic Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. He suffered a back injury in an ATV accident, ending his 2010 season and Olympic aspirations. Danny finished in 10th place at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
