Luke Keary
Luke Keary (born 3 February 1992) is a professional rugby league footballer who plays as a or for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL and Australia and Ireland at international level. Keary previously played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, with whom he won the 2014 NRL Premiership. Keary won the Clive Churchill Medal in 2018 and the 2018 NRL Grand Final & 2019 NRL Grand Finals with the Sydney Roosters. Early career Keary was born in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia, and is of Irish descent and was raised in the suburb of Raceview and attended St. Mary's Primary School in Ipswich. He played junior rugby league for Ipswich Brothers. At age 10, Keary moved to Sydney with his family. Hills District Bulls
The Hills District Bulls is a Parramatta District junior rugby league football club which play in at Crestwood Oval. They have played in the Parramatta District since 1964. They field teams in all age groups including C-Grade, A-Grade, Sydney Shield and Ron Massey Cup competitions. History Over a few beers at the Bull & Bush Hotel at Baulkham Hills the club's name and legend was born in 1963. The club's inaugural season was 1964. They commenced with an A Grade, A Reserve Grade and C Grade team and trained on Yattenden Oval. On some match days when there were insufficient A Grade players available, players from the A Reserve Grade team would double up and play two games. 2013 NRL Season
The 2013 NRL season was the 106th season of professional rugby league club competition in Australia. The National Rugby League's main competition, named the 2013 Telstra Premiership after major sponsors Telstra Corporation, was contested by sixteen teams during the regular season, which lasted from March to September, and resulted in the top eight finishing teams, who went on to contest the finals. The season culminated in the Grand Final, in which the Sydney Roosters defeated the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles 26-18 to win their first NRL premiership since 2002. National Youth Competition (rugby League)
The NRL Under-20s (known commercially as the Holden Cup due to sponsorship from Holden) was the top league of professional rugby league for players aged 20 years or younger in Australasia. Contested by sixteen teams, the Under-20s competition commenced in 2008 and was originally known as the Toyota Cup. The competition runs parallel to Australasia's professional competition, the National Rugby League, with NYC matches played immediately prior to the NRL games. Similar to the NRL, the NYC enforces a salary cap and puts a heavy focus on life outside football for the players. The 2012 NRL season was the 105th season of professional rugby league club competition in Australia, and the first run by the newly formed Australian Rugby League Commission. The main competition, called the 2012 NRL Telstra Premiership due to sponsorship from Telstra Corporation was contested by the sixteen teams of the National Rugby League. The season started with the 2012 NRL All Stars match and culminated in the 2012 NRL grand final. The 2012 Toyota Cup season also took place alongside the Premiership. Allan Langer
Allan Jeffrey "Alfie" Langer AM (born 30 July 1966) is an Australian former multi-award-winning rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s and worked as an assistant coach for the Australian national team, the Queensland Maroons and the Brisbane Broncos. He was one of the pre-eminent s of his era, representing Australia on many occasions and holding the record for most State of Origin appearances, until being surpassed by his club, state and country team-mate Darren Lockyer.
