Luisa Durán
Luisa Durán de la Fuente (born 27 February 1941) is the wife of the former President of Chile Ricardo Lagos. She was First Lady of Chile during her husband's tenure (2000-2006). Personal life Durán was born to Hernán Durán Morales and Luisa de la Fuente Tavolara. She studied at the Alliance Française school in Santiago and the Number 7 High School of Providencia. Public life During her time as First Lady, she preferred to be referred to as the ''President's wife''. The Centro Cultural Matucana 100 is a cultural center located in the commune of Estación Central in Santiago, Chile, near Quinta Normal Park. Matucana 100 is a not-for-profit corporation that hosts and plans cultural events and educational programs related to the contemporary arts including dance, theatre, music, photography, the visual arts and cinema. Marta Larraechea Bolívar (born August 30, 1944 in Constitución, Talca Province) is a social orientator, politician and wife of Chilean President Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle. She was a council member of the Santiago municipality (2000–2004) and First Lady of Chile (1994–2000). She is of Basque descent. She is the daughter of Vasco de Larraechea Herrera and Victoria Bolívar Le Fort. Ricardo Lagos Escobar
Ricardo Froilán Lagos Escobar (; born 2 March 1938) is a Chilean lawyer, economist and social-democratic politician who served as president of Chile from 2000 to 2006. During the 1980s he was a well-known opponent of the Chilean military dictatorship and astounded contemporaries in 1988 by openly denouncing dictator Augusto Pinochet on live television.
