Luis Vasquez (American Football)
Luis Guillermo Vasquez (born April 23, 1986) is an American football defensive lineman who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Arizona State University. College career Vasquez signed to play with the Purdue Boilermakers football team in 2004, where he redshirted during the 2004 season. Vasquez transferred to Arizona Western College, where he was named the Western States Football League Defensive Player of the Year in 2005. Vasquez had originally committed to Washington State, but when Robb Akey left to take the head coaching job at Idaho, Vasquez decommited and chose Arizona State. Professional career Baltimore Ravens After going undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft, Vasquez signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens. In June 2009, Vasquez was released. The linemen of the team currently in possession of the ball are the offensive line, while linemen on the opposing team are the defensive line. The Indoor Football League (IFL) is a professional indoor American football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. It has one of the largest number of currently active teams among indoor football leagues. The league has operated continuously under the same name and corporate structure longer than any other current indoor football league. With the closure of the Arena Football League in 2019, the IFL is the oldest active professional indoor football league in North America. The 2009 NFL Draft was the seventy-fourth annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. The draft took place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, New York, on April 25 and 26, 2009. The draft consisted of two rounds on the first day, starting at 4:00 pm EDT, and five rounds on the second day, starting at 10:00 am EDT. To compensate for the time change from the previous year and in an effort to help shorten the draft, teams were no longer on the clock for 15 minutes in the first round and 10 minutes in the second round. Robb Akey
Robb Alan Akey (born July 24, 1966) is an American football coach, currently the defensive coordinator at Central Michigan University. He was the head coach at the University of Idaho from 2007 to 2012. Early years Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Akey graduated from Roy J.
