Luis Torres Nadal
Luis Torres Nadal (4 July 1943 – 15 May 1986) was a Puerto Rican playwright, poet, educator, actor, choreographer, and theatrical director. Early years Torres Nadal was born at 67 Aurora Street, in the Ponce Historic Zone on 4 July 1943. He was the youngest son of Isaías Torres Santiago and Ana Inés Nadal Delegue. He studied at the Colegio Ponceño de Varones, which at that time was a boys-only school, and graduated from Ponce High School in 1961. Schooling and training Upon graduation from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico in 1965 with a B.A. degree in History and Literature, he traveled to the United States to study at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. Parque del Tricentenario is a passive urban park in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The park was built to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the city. It was inaugurated during the mayoral administration of mayor Rafael Cordero Santiago. Location The park is a passive urban family park. It is located in Barrio Tercero (Ponce), Tercero at the entrance to the Ponce Historic Zone on Miguel Pou Boulevard, at the southern terminus of Puerto Rico Highway 1, PR-1. Puerto Rico Highway 2
Puerto Rico Highway 2 (PR-2) is a road in Puerto Rico that connects the cities of San Juan and Ponce. At 156 miles (230 km) long, it is Puerto Rico's longest singled-signed highway. The road runs counter-clockwise from San Juan to Ponce. PR-2 runs parallel to the northern coast of Puerto Rico (west of San Juan), then parallel to the west coast from near Aguadilla running south through Mayagüez. Puerto Rico Highway 163 (PR-163) is a major two-way thoroughfare in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The road has both of its termini as well as all of its length entirely within the Ponce city limits. The road runs east to west from its eastern terminus at PR-2 in Barrio San Antón to its western terminus at PR-500 in Barrio Canas. The road has a length of 4.8 kilometers. Dr. Luis Rafael Sánchez, a.k.a. "Wico" Sánchez (November 17, 1936) is a Puerto Rican essayist, novelist, and short-story author who is widely considered one of the island's most outstanding contemporary playwrights. Possibly his best known play is ''La Pasión según Antígona Pérez'' (The Passion according to Antigona Perez), a tragedy based on the life of Olga Viscal Garriga.
