Luis Grill Prieto
Luis Grill Prieto (1928 – 21 April 2011), was an Argentine-born Chilean football player and manager who worked in Chile, Guatemala and Mexico. Career Born in 1928, he played football in Chile as a defender for both Universidad Católica and Santiago Morning in the 1940s and the 1950s. In Universidad Católica, he played alongside players such as Sergio Livingstone, Rodolfo Almeyda, Andrés Prieto, among others. He graduated as a football manager in Santiago, Chile, and coached Universidad Católica. He came to Guatemala in 1963 to lead Municipal, becoming the first Chilean who has coached it before Jaime Hormazábal, Javier Mascaró, Rolando Torino and Fernando Díaz. During his stints with Municipal, he led the team in thirteen derbies against Comunicaciones and won two league titles in 1963–64 and 1969–70. Andrés Rafael Prieto Urrejola (19 December 1928 – 25 September 2022) was a Chilean football forward who played for Chile in the 1950 FIFA World Cup.Jawad, H: Soccerama 01, pp3-32 He also played for Club Deportivo Universidad Católica. Copa MX
The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 1907. After a lengthy hiatus that began in 1997, it was restored in 2012. On early editions of the cup, it consisted of both professional and amateur stages. It was the first official tournament that included teams from different parts of Mexico and was considered a prestigious tournament, especially during its earlier years of existence.
