Luis Daniel Rivera (actor)
Luis Daniel Rivera (born August 4, 1946, in Utuado, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican actor and radio announcer. He is better known for his participation in Puerto Rican, Dominican Republic and Mexican telenovelas. He has also participated in some films. Rivera is also a former member of the New Progressive Party or "PNP", a political party which advocates for a possible, future Puerto Rican statehood (as a 51st state of the United States). Rivera, however, says that, since retiring as a member of that party, he prefers not to talk publicly about political issues or ideologies. Early life Rivera was born on August 4, 1946, in Utuado. Utuado, Puerto Rico
Utuado () is a town and municipality of Puerto Rico located in the central mountainous region of the island known as the '' Cordillera Central''. It is located north of Adjuntas and Ponce; south of Hatillo and Arecibo; east of Lares; and west of Ciales and Jayuya. It is the third-largest municipality in land area in Puerto Rico (after Arecibo and Ponce). According to the 2020 US Census, the municipality has a population of 28,287 spread over 24 barrios and Utuado pueblo (the downtown area and the administrative center of the city). Raquel Johanna Rosaly Guillermety (born January 13, 1948) is a Puerto Rican actress, singer, and television host. Early years Johanna Rosaly was born in Santurce, a district of San Juan. In 1956 at the age of eight, she started taking acting lessons with Argentinians Luis A. Negro and Elba Mania, and dancing lessons with Beatriz Trujillo. Valentín Pimstein Weiner (August 9, 1925 – June 27, 2017) was a Chilean producer of telenovelas. Biography Pimstein was the seventh child of nine in a Belarusian Jewish family (from Minsk), which owns a glass shop in Barrio Brasil in Santiago. His fondness for the romantic and melodramatic stories born under the eaves of his mother, a frequent consumer of Mexican films and soap operas, and developed in parallel with his interest in theater. Rodolfo Guzmán Huerta (23 September 1917 – 5 February 1984), known professionally as El Santo or in English The Saint, was a Mexican luchador enmascarado (Spanish for "masked professional wrestler"), actor and folk hero. Lucha Libre
Lucha libre (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term used in Latin America for professional wrestling. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and "high-flying" maneuvers, some of which have been adopted in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. The wearing of masks has developed special significance, and matches are sometimes contested in which the loser must permanently remove his mask, which is a wager with a high degree of weight attached. Hector Enrique Maluenda Meneses (born August 5, 1935, in Santiago, Chile), better known as Enrique Maluenda, is a Chilean television show host, politician and fireman. Luz Odilia Font ( Arocho; November 11, 1929 – February 9, 2022) was a Puerto Rican actress. She was perhaps better remembered for her role as "Clara" in the 2013 Puerto Rican film production, "The Condemned". Life and career Born in San Sebastián, the daughter of a social worker mother, Font enjoyed music since an early age. At age nine, Font began a formal training in music by taking musical classes.
