Luis Daniel Muñiz
Luis Daniel Muñiz Cortés (born July 7, 1974 in Moca, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican politician and senator. He has been a member of the Senate of Puerto Rico since 2004. Early years and studies Luis Daniel Muñiz was born July 7, 1974, on Moca, Puerto Rico. He studied elementary and high school in the city of Moca. In 1999, he started studying at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, where he received his bachelor's degree in secondary education with a major in history and social studies. Muñiz then went on to study at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He then finished his master's degree in administration and supervision from Phoenix University. Puerto Rico Senatorial District IV, also known as the Senatorial District of Mayagüez-Aguadilla, is one of the eight senatorial districts of Puerto Rico. After a count by the State Commission of Elections, the winner was inaugurated to a four-year term as Governor of Puerto Rico on January 2, 2005. The 2012 Puerto Rican general elections were held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 to elect the officials of the Puerto Rican government that would serve for the next four years, most notably the Governor of Puerto Rico. A status referendum was held on the same date. ''El Nuevo Día'' (English: ''The New Day'') is the newspaper with the largest circulation in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1909 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and today it is a subsidiary of GFR Media. Roberto Arango
Roberto Arango-Vinent is an American politician who served in the Senate of Puerto Rico from January 2005 until August 2011 representing the San Juan district for the New Progressive Party of Puerto Rico (NPP), which is a conservative group derived from the Republican Statehood Party. During his tenure, Arango voted for anti-gay legislation several times.
