Luis Copete
Luis Fernando Copete Murillo (born 12 February 1989) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Liga Primera club Diriangén FC. Born and raised in Colombia to Colombian parents, Copete has played in the Nicaraguan league and subsequently capped for the Nicaragua national team. Club career Puma Generaleña In 2015, Copete and his then Nicaragua national team mate Raúl Leguías joined Costa Rican side AS Puma. Copete went on trial with Kazakhstan Premier League side FC Shakhter Karagandy in early 2016, but did not earn a contract. Sonsonate Copete signed with top flight Primera División side Sonsonate for Clausura 2018 tournament. The Nicaragua national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Nicaragua) represents Nicaragua in men's international football and is controlled by the Nicaraguan Football Federation. Liga Primera De Nicaragua
The Liga Primera de Nicaragua is the top division of football in Nicaragua, organized by the Federación Nicaragüense de Fútbol, it was created in 1933. It is played in two parts, Torneo de Apertura from August through November and Torneo de Clausura from January through May. Each of the regular seasons is followed by a playoff of the top four teams over a two-legged semifinal and subsequent final. The Nicaragua National Football Stadium (Estadio Nacional de Fútbol) in Managua, Nicaragua, is home to the Nicaragua national football team. The 2017 Copa Centroamericana ( en, 2017 Central American Cup) was the 14th and last edition of the Copa Centroamericana, the biennial international men's football championship of the Central American region organized by the Central American Football Union (UNCAF). The tournament was hosted in Panama between 13–22 January 2017.
