Luis Cobos
Luis Cobos (born October 30, 1948) is a Spanish composer, conductor and musician. He is chairman of the management entity performers (AIE) and the chairman of the board of the Latin Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. He was married to the singer Angel. Career Cobos initially began as an arranger and composer for a Los Angeles latin-soul aggregation called 'Conexión' who released a number of popular dance cuts and one album including "I will pray" from the late 1960s to the early 1970s. In addition Cobos and his orchestra ''The Philharmonic Beethoven'' contributed further arrangements on a variety of latin releases during the 1970s. Cobos' big break came in 1982 when he recorded his first solo studio album ''Zarzuela'' at Abbey Road Studios with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Following the release of Zarzuela, Cobos released his second studio album in 1983 ''Sol y sombra'' followed by ''Mexicano'' which was released in 1984. Mecano
Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in 1981 and active until 1992. Mecano became one of the most successful Spanish pop bands of all time. The band is still the best-selling Spanish band, with over 25 million records worldwide. They were considered by some to be avant-garde for their time and part of la Movida Madrileña countercultural movement. They had a brief comeback in 1998. The band's line-up was singer Ana Torroja and brothers Nacho and José María Cano, who worked alongside session musicians such as Arturo Terriza, Manolo Aguilar, Nacho Mañó, Javier Quílez, Ángel Celada and Óscar Astruga. Ana Torroja
Ana Torroja Fungairiño (born 28 December 1959 in Madrid), 3rd marchioness of Torroja, is a Spanish singer. She was the lead singer of the pop trio Mecano, considered one of the most popular pop bands from Spain during the 1980s and 1990s. Mecano split in 1998 and she embarked on a solo career. Biography Formally styled Marquesa de Torroja, she succeeded to the title upon her father's death in 2021. Ana Torroja met José María Cano while studying economics at university. Miguel Ríos Campaña (born 7 June 1944) is a Spanish singer, composer, actor. He is one of the pioneers of rock and roll in Spain. Biography Ríos was born in La Cartuja, a neighborhood of Granada.
