Ludovico Calini
Ludovico Calini (9 January 1696 Calino – 9 December 1782, Brescia) was an Italian Cardinal (Catholicism), cardinal. Biography Cardinal Calini was born in Calino on 9 January 1696. He was ordained priest on 17 December 1718 and elected bishop of the diocese of Roman Catholic Diocese of Crema, Crema on 11 September 1730. Ten days later, on the 21st, he was consecrated by Cardinal Angelo Maria Quirini at the SDAn Marco, Rome, Church of San Marco, Pope Clement XIII created him a cardinal on 27 September 1766 and received the red hat and the title of Sant'Anastasia al Palatio, Sant'Anastasia on the 30th of September of the same year. He died on 9 December 1782 at the age of 86. At his death he was the oldest member of the College of Cardinals. Alessandro Albani
Alessandro Albani (15 October 1692 – 11 December 1779) was a Roman Catholic cardinal, but should be best remembered as a leading collector of antiquities, dealer and art patron in Rome. He supported the art historian, Johann Joachim Winckelmann and commissioned paintings from Anton Raphael Mengs. As a cardinal (from 1721) he furthered the interests of the governments of Austria, Savoy and Britain against those of France and Spain; he was a noted jurist and papal administrator in his earlier career. The Latin patriarch of Antioch was a prelate of the Latin Church created in 1098 by Bohemond I of Taranto, founder of the Principality of Antioch, one of the crusader states. The jurisdiction of the Latin patriarchs in Antioch extended over the three feudal principalities of Antioch, Edessa, and Tripoli.
