Lucy Beaumont (actress)
Lucy Beaumont (born Lucy Emily Pinkstone; 18 May 1869 – 24 April 1937) was an English actress of the stage and screen from Bristol. Biography On Broadway, Beaumont played Lady Emily Lyons in '' The Bishop Misbehaves'' (1935) and Mrs. Barwick in ''Berkeley Square'' (1925). A 1932 revival of ''Berkeley Square'', featuring Beaumont, Miriam Seegar, George Baxter and Henry Mowbray, was staged in San Francisco by Arthur Greville Collins. During the 1914–15 season Beaumont was in ''My Lady's Dress'' at the Playhouse in New York. The following season she was featured in '' Quinneys'', for part of the play's run. In 1916 she appeared with Frances Starr in ''Little Lady in Blue''. Beaumont played mostly mother parts on the screen. ''The Last of the Duanes'' is a 1924 American silent Western film directed by Lynn Reynolds and starring Tom Mix, with his horse Tony the Wonder Horse. It is based on a 1914 Zane Grey novel, '' Last of the Duanes''. A print of the film exists, after it was discovered in a chicken farm in the Czech Republic. This was the second of four films based on the novel; a 1919 silent film adaptation starred William Farnum, a 1930 adaptation starred George O'Brien, and a 1941 adaptation featured George Montgomery. Plot Buck Duane, the pacifist son of a famous gunman, shoots the man that killed his father, and then goes on the run. Plot At the ball celebrating the wedding of Henry of Navarre on August 23, 1572, the evil Queen Mother Catherine de' Medici (Josephine Crowell) persuades her son King Charles IX to sign a decree to exterminate the Huguenots. The Royalton Hotel is a hotel at 44 West 44th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, United States. The hotel, opened in 1898, was designed by architecture firm Rossiter & Wright and developed by civil engineer Edward G. Bailey. The 13-story building is made of brick, stone, terracotta, and iron. The hotel's lobby, which connects 43rd and 44th Streets, contains a bar and restaurant.
