The song is a quasi-follow-up to The Beatles' " Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds", originally inspired by a drawing by a then four-year-old Lennon given to his father. Cover art Lennon and Cook appeared on CBS's '' The Early Show'' on 16 December 2009 to debut the song. In the interview with co-anchor Harry Smith, Lennon revealed his original drawing depicting Lucy "got lost. So how it was found or who may have taken it, I have no idea, but it's now been re-found and David Gilmour from Pink Floyd has it and kindly allowed us to use a copy of it for the art work" for "Lucy."" Charity Lennon contacted his childhood friend Lucy later in life, and learned she had contracted the auto-immune disease lupus Lupus, technically known as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), is an autoimmune ...

Lucy (novel)
''Lucy'' (1990) is a short novel or novella by Jamaica Kincaid. The story begins ''in medias res'': the eponymous Lucy has come from the West Indies to the United States to be an au pair for a wealthy white family. The plot of the novel closely mirrors Kincaid's own experiences. ''Lucy'' retains the critical tone of '' A Small Place'' but simplifies the style of Kincaid's earlier work by using less repetition and surrealism. The first of her books set completely outside the Caribbean, ''Lucy'', like most of Kincaid's writing, has a strong autobiographical basis. The novel's protagonist, Lucy Josephine Potter, shares one of Kincaid's given names and her birthday. Like Kincaid, Lucy leaves the Caribbean to become an au pair in a large American city. At nineteen, Lucy is older than previous Kincaid protagonists, which lends the book a more mature and cynical perspective than in her previous fiction. Still, Lucy has pangs of homesickness and unresolved feelings about her mother, and s ...

''The Buzz on Maggie'' is an American animated television series created by Dave Polsky for Disney Channel. The series centers on an ambitious and expressive tween fly named Maggie Pesky and her family and friends. The show is set in Stickyfeet, a city for insects located in a junkyard. While conceptualizing the series, Polsky wanted it to contain a playful aspect at adolescence and director Dave Wasson formed the overall look of the characters, being heavily influenced by early Walt Disney cartoon shorts. ''The Buzz on Maggie'' was Disney's first series to be fully animated in Adobe Flash, a process done by Bardel Entertainment and Future Thought Productions. The series was produced in widescreen, but was broadcast in 4:3 aspect ratio due to Disney Channel's lack of an HD feed at the time. The Good Son (album)
''The Good Son'' is the sixth album by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, released in 1990. After two dark and harrowing albums with '' Your Funeral... My Trial'' (1986) and ''Tender Prey'' (1988), ''The Good Son'' was a substantial departure with a lighter and generally more uplifting sound. The change of mood was greatly inspired by singer Nick Cave falling in love with Brazilian journalist Viviane Carneiro, and an apparently salutary spell in rehab which purged much of the despair and squalor reflected in the previous two albums. Cave later said, "I guess ''The Good Son'' is some kind of reflection of the way I felt early on in Brazil. I was quite happy there. I was in love and the first year or two was good. The problem I found was ... in order to survive you have to adopt their attitudes towards everything, which are kind of blinkered." Singles and release history ''The Good Son'' was preceded by the release of "The Ship Song" single. A different version of "The Weeping Son ...

Prince Caspian (soundtrack)
''Prince Caspian'' (originally published as ''Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia'') is a high fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis, published by Geoffrey Bles in 1951. It was the second published of seven novels in '' The Chronicles of Narnia'' (1950–1956), and Lewis had finished writing it in 1949, before the first book was out. It is volume four in recent editions of the series, sequenced according to the internal chronology of the books. Like the others, it was illustrated by Pauline Baynes and her work has been retained in many later editions. It is the only book of ''The Chronicles'' with men dominating Narnia. The talking animals and mythical beings are oppressed, and some may be endangered. The English siblings, legendary , are magically recalled, once again children, by the refugee Prince Caspian. ...
