Luigi Lucioni (born Giuseppe Luigi Carlo Benevenuto Lucioni; November 4, 1900 – July 22, 1988) was an Italian American painter known for his still lifes, landscapes, and portraits. Early life Early years and immigration to the United States Luigi Lucioni was born on November 4, 1900 in Malnate, Italy, which lies in a mountainous region approximately 30 miles north of Milan, in the foothills of the Alps near the border between Italy and Switzerland. Lucioni's parents, Angelo and Maria Beati Lucioni, who were married in 1890, were from the nearby region of Castiglione Olona, as were Lucioni's grandparents. Lucioni had three older sisters: Angela (b. 1891), Alice (b. 1893) and Aurora (b. 1897), and the family lived in a two-room apartment with no gas, running water or a bathtub. Fabio Lucioni (born 25 September 1987) is an Italian footballer who plays as a defender for Serie B club Frosinone on loan from Lecce. Career Ternana, loans and Gela Born in Terni, Umbria, Lucioni started his career at hometown club Ternana. In January 2008, he was loaned to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione (Serie C2) clubs, namely Monopoli and Noicattaro. José Luccioni (14 October 1903 in Bastia – 5 October 1978 in Marseille) was a French operatic tenor of Corsican origin. He possessed one of the best dramatic voices of the 1930s and 1940s. Initially a racing car driver and mechanic at the Citroën car company, his voice was discovered while he was serving in the military. He studied singing in Paris with the eminent former tenors Léon David and Léon Escalais and made his debut in Rouen as Cavaradossi in ''Tosca'' in 1931. During the 1932-33 season he debuted at both the Palais Garnier and the Opéra-Comique, where he won considerable acclaim as Don José in '' Carmen'', a role he sang an estimated 500 times during his career.
