Lucie Aubrac (film)
''Lucie Aubrac'' is a 1997 French biopic of the World War II French Resistance member Lucie Aubrac. The film starred Carole Bouquet in the title role and was directed by Claude Berri. The story loosely follows the role of Lucie Aubrac and her husband during the Second World War and their parts in the resistance in Lyon. The film was entered into the 47th Berlin International Film Festival. Claude Berri
Claude Berri (; 1 July 1934 – 12 January 2009) was a French film director, writer, producer, actor and distributor. Early life Born Claude Beri Langmann in Paris, Berri was the son of Jewish immigrant parents. His mother, Beila (née Bercu), was from Romania, and his father, Hirsch Langmann, was a furrier from Poland. His sister was the screenwriter and editor Arlette Langmann. Career Berri won the "Best Film" BAFTA for '' Jean de Florette'', and was also nominated for twelve César Awards, though he never won. Berri also won the Oscar for Best Short Film for '' Le Poulet'' at the 38th Academy Awards in 1966, and produced Roman Polanski's ''Tess'' which was nominated for Best Picture in 1981. Andrzej Seweryn
Andrzej Teodor Seweryn (born 25 April 1946) is a Polish actor and director. One of the most successful Polish theatre actors, he starred in over 50 films, mostly in Poland, France and Germany. He is also one of only three non-French actors to be hired by the Paris-based Comédie-Française. He is currently serving as director general of the Polski Theatre in Warsaw. He has three children with three different wives: daughter Maria Seweryn (born 1975) with his first wife, Polish actress Krystyna Janda, and two sons, Yann-Baptiste and Maximilien. ''Mars Attacks!'' is a 1996 American science fiction comedy film directed by Tim Burton, who also co-produced it with Larry J. Franco. The screenplay by Jonathan Gems was based on the Topps trading card series of the same name. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Jack Nicholson (in a dual role), Glenn Close, Annette Bening, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito, Martin Short, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michael J.
